Extremely satisfying stay at a relaxed and quiet place with great accomodation, staff, food and facilities.

One of the best places I have ever stayed at. The complex is clean, very well maintained, the houses are exceptional in terms of both design and comfort and the staff are amazing. Last but not least, the restaurant at the resort is top-notch.

Charming Boutique Resort

The staff was very prompt whenever we needed anything. The property itself was beautiful, good location, right in front of the beach. The resort food was also top-notch.

When we had asked for clean beach towels, they had a bunch of stains on them, leading me to think they weren't clean.

Exceptional

Everything! The location is an absolute dream, the staff are lovely and very attentive. They organise everything you need if requested (tours, scooters etc). Tours are super convenient as you're picked up/dropped off on the beachfront at your doorstep, which is a massive win after a long day on the water. The food and cocktails are delicious and a great price. We stayed in a bungalow with water views and you couldn't beat it, plus breakfast was served on our balcony every morning!! We stayed for 7 nights and could have stayed another week, easily. I couldn't recommend Mahogany Resort enough and would rebook with them without any hesitation. Thanks so much for making the week 10/10!!!

Nice property with amazing food

Nice property well blended with the surrounding natural. The sunset from the bar is also amazing. The food is excellent probably the best in town breakfast can be served in a balcony adjacent to your room which feels very cozy and private.

The beach is not suitable for swing (boats and probably some drainage from the surrounding areas)

Great facilities, restaurant, pool. Very friendly and super helpful staff. Great location - close to town proper and also plenty of other places to walk to for lunch, dinner, etc. Highly recommended

Beautiful sunsets

The location right on the beach is beautiful and you can walk along the beach to get to other restaurants. Staff is wonderful and the food is very good. The pool is nice and the water is pleasantly cool, they clean it every morning.

The neighborhood is a bit scruffy, but you don’t really need to walk along the main street. The location of the kitchen is a bit mysterious, but you can order food from the bartenders, I think by phone too. The dining area is right next to the beach and has no cover from rain. You can have your order delivered to the patio of your unit, which would be nice for the sea view units, but not as appealing for the garden view units, but we managed to eat between cloudbursts and never had to do that. They need to check on the information they are giving on tours. The front desk told us we wouldn’t need any money, so we were unable to pay for the kayak rental at the Big Lagoon and missed going in. The write up says we would get water (one tiny bottle) and towels (nope, but didn’t really need them)

Exceptional

Loved the location, the really friendly and helpful staff, and the suite. The breakfast was amazing. The restaurant offered a 'special' each evening that we generally selected to eat in. Just 100m along the beach was a great little lane (Pops District) that had nearly every shop we needed (tours, massage, clothes, food, etc).

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Very Good

The place is very shady because of the trees. The rooms are comfortable and big. It is peaceful and relaxing, a nice place to read a good book or chill by the pool or beach. It is not too crowded. They were very accommodating for tour request .

It is not a good spot to swim since if it’s low tide you need to walk far. It’s a good place to have lunch or dinner by the beach but the the food choice is very limited. The breakfast serving is small, they forgot to put butter and jam for pancakes, and the eggs for sunny side up should be two but they serve only one when asked for the reason it was that the egg broke, they should have replace it before serving. They only provided two small bottles of water and a pitcher of filtered water. It would be nice if a water dispenser is available. They forgot to place bath towels and replace the pitcher of water. Considering the place is only small which accommodates maybe at most 9 bungalow house/rooms, more or less 20 people at time, they should have been more attentive.

Amazing location and great beach front property Great morning and evening walks and breakfast with beach view Good and relaxing views of the beach and beyond from the rooms Very comfortable beds and clean bathrooms

Breakfast was good but certain requests like toasted bread etc was missed. Some mosquitos but this is expected in the rainforest/ tropical environment . WiFi was slow but who cares when you are in such a great environment and location

Electricity was out for 5 hours, 10 mins tricycle into town. Food at the restaurant was not that good.

best place in corong corong and baby friendly.

I love how the personnels are very attentive and easy to talk to. location is amazing, beachfront is swimmable and the bed is soooo comfortable. get the villa if you are a group, u have two sofa bed/single bed that are very comfortable. also, they made us use the pool even after check out, until late afternoon. also their dog Leo. I miss Leo.

Pleasant

- the location and the Bungalows itself were beautiful - El Nido itself is beautiful and the surrounding islands are amazing - corong corong has the most beautiful sunsets - good breakfast - friendly staff

- the shower was rusty. When you open the water for taking a shower the smell was very bad and you had rusty particles on your body. So you feel even more dirty after taking the shower. - the dinner at the restaurant is too expensive and tasteless - the hotel is in total nice but for what you get it is way too expensive, you get in Switzerland the best hospitality for this price - the Organisation is a real problem, on our first day we waited 1 hour for our breakfast although we had to book it the day before, for having dinner you also wait for 30 min to get only drinks - we had a bungalow with a small jacuzzi, but it was never cleaned, there were leaves and dirt so we never used it

Memories are made by experience rather than location!!!!

Location was great. The concept was good.

Not a great stay in a perfect location!!!! Inflexible management, non courteous reception (unlike any other philippine friedly experience). Highly expensive for (room phone not working always, lizard welcoming on the bed, hot water not available in evening, only cash, no card accepted). Only advantage of great location, good huts and nice ambience. Memories are made by experience rather than location!!!!
